Ele's Race 2011 — 5K Run / Walk

Ele's Race is an annual 5K Run / Walk that directly benefits Ele's Place, a healing center for grieving children. It's a fun-filled family event that helps to raise funds and awareness for Ele's Place.

Online volunteer registration has now closed. Thank you to everyone that registered as a volunteer. We look forward to seeing your at the race!

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please check in 15 minutes prior to your assignment start time at volunteer check in on the day of the race. More information will be provided regarding specific job tasks at check in.

Volunteer positions

Packet Pick-up:
We will have packet pick-up on Saturday at Playmakers and on Sunday at the race.

  • Playmakers
    Volunteers at Playmakers will take registration forms, hand out race packets and shirts.
  • Race day
    Volunteers at the race will hand out race packets and shirts. We'll also need your help collecting pledges, lost and found, race results, and more.

Parking: Help direct traffic before and after the race.

Set-up: Help set-up tables, tents, and more.

Start / finish line: Hand out water and assist runners after the race.

Course: Direct runners and walkers on the course and report any problems or injuries.

Refreshments: Prepare and hand out water to runners and walkers along the course.

Entertainment / children's activies: Help our entertainers with their events.

Kids mile: Help direct kids along the one mile course.

Take-down: Help take-down all the tables, tents, and other equipment used during the race.
