Ele’s Place Receives $10,000 Grant through the Walmart Foundation
to expand children’s grief support group programming in Lansing and Ann Arbor.

New York Life Foundation Grants $25,000 to Ele's Place!
Ele’s Place is the recent recipient of a $25,000 grant from New York Life Foundation. Ele’s Place is one of 22 bereavement providers that received the funding as part of a national effort to help expand grief support services to diverse and disadvantaged youth in local areas across the country. The New York Life Foundation partnered with The National Alliance of Grieving Children to identify deserving bereavement providers. The grant will be used to launch a pilot program with Ypsilanti and Willow Run Middle Schools to provide school-based bereavement support to children who have experienced the death of a loved one.

The Linden Classic awards donations to charity in lieu of trophies!
The Linden Classic, an invitational cross-country event hosted by Linden High School, honors its top teams by donating to the charities of the team's choice in lieu of awarding trophies. Two womens' cross country teams chose Ele's Place to receive funds - Bath High School and Milford High School (pictured below in that order)

A Little HOPE, Inc. chooses Ele's Place for $25,000 grant
to expand our Ele's Group school based program in three local middle schools. This will allow us to serve 35 additional grieving children who are unable to attend our onsite programs.
Little HOPE, Inc. is a not-for-profit which grants funds to organizations that provide bereavement support services and grief counseling to children and teens who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or loved one.

recently donated $8,000 to Ele's Place as a result of their annual Charity Golf Outing in September!

Generous supporter, Howdy Holmes Jr. with Ann Arbor Ele’s Place Managing Director, Wendy Brightman at the 2011 Holmes Charity Golf Invitational. The golf outing brought in $9,515 in donations to Ele’s Place and was held at Timber Trace Golf Club.

Lori Bosch awarded the Jackson National Life "IT Team" their trophy for the most money raised among JNL associates for the 2011 Ele's Race fundraising competition.
