Family Services Coordinator- Lansing
Ele's Place Lansing is seeking a part time (20 hrs/wk) Family Services Coordinator to oversee assigned support group program sessions and related programming responsibilities.
Principles Responsibilities:
1. Provides guidance for Ele's Place families about programming questions and concerns. Identifies and coordinates Ele's Place families in need of referrals to mental health therapists, protective services, or other outside resources.
2. Provides guidance/support/feedback to facilitators and volunteers. Briefs them about new families, family updates, procedures and other announcements. Ensures all program set-up/clean-up work is completed.
3. Coordinates and conducts family intakes and orientations; provides follow-up and referral as needed.
4. Maitains family records, including records of applications sent and received, and ensures that family information on database system is correct and up-to-date.
5. Coordinates group assignments for family members, with assistance from Program Director.
6. Assists callers and visitors with inquiries seeking information, guidance and/or referrals.
7. Maintains inventory of program supplies and ensures that supplies are procured.
8. Helps to ensure that child safety policies, emergency procedures and building safety policies are followed by all program staff and volunteers.
9. Fulfills one or more of the following specific responsibilities, as assigned:
- Produces quarterly family bulletin
- Compiles satisfaction surveys
- Helps to coordinate the summer bereavement camp with Arbor Hospice
- Assists with facilitator training program by presenting one or more topics
- Plans for and coordinates activity room projects
- Makes presentations to community groups, teachers, physicians, etc. about Ele's Place and children's grief issues
- Keeps therapist referral list and/or community resources list up-to-date
- Coordinates other projects, as assigned
10. Participates in Program Team meetings and Program Advisory Committee meetings; works with these groups to ensure applicable strategic plan goals are achieved.

A minimum of LLMSW, LLPC, or LLMFC certification is required. Ideal candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and good computer skills. Adult and child group experience, knowledge of grief issues and community resources required. Ideal candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule. Family Services & Volunteer Coordinator - Flint
Ele's Place Flint is seeking a part time (20 hrs/wk) Family Services & Volunteer Coordinator to coordinate the recruitment, training, assignment and supervision of programming volunteers.
Priniciple Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the recruitment of program volunteers for Ele's Place in Flint, and responds to inquiries from other potential volunteers. Ensures volunteer packets are sent to interested candidates, and information in these packets are kept up-to-date. Coordinates the pre- and post-trainng interview process for prospective facilitators, and conducts interviews.
2. Plans and coordinates all aspects of facilitator training program and leads portions of the training. Identifies additional training needs for facilitators and group leaders; coordinates the development and implementation of trainings, such as in-service workshops. Trains program helpers as needed.
3. Coordinates assignment of facilitators and other program volunteers (program helpers, substitute facilitators, clinicians).
4. Assists with overseeing support groups sessions as assigned:
- Provides guidance/support/feedback to facilitators and volunteers; shares information about procedures, etc. with facilitators; and ensures all set-up/clean-up work is completed.
- May assist with providing information about new families, family updates, and other announcements to facilitators; and addresses family concerns or issues.

6. Maintains family records, including records of applications sent and received, and ensures that family information on database system is correct and up-to-date.

Operations Manager - Ann Arbor
Ele's Place Ann Arbor is seeking a full time Operations Manager to manage efficient administrative procedures and systems for the continuous improvement of the organization's operations.
Priniciple Responsibilities:
1. Explores and fully utlilizes all database software applications, including on-line communications with donors, volunteers and families. Establishes and maintains on-line donation program.
2. Oversees database with precision, includiing donor records/accounts receivable; generates database reports for staff; ensures meticulous data entry and donation acknowledgement letters for capital campaign.
3. Manages IT and phone systems with outside vendors; assists staff with IT and phone needs (hardware and software); manages technical needs for website development.
4. Oversees all office systems, including purchasing and maintenance of equipment and purchasing of supplies; supervises office management staff. Ensures work/supply areas are kept clean and organized.
5. Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing at all times for the Front Desk. This includes planning for additional staff prior to large events (Breakfast) and covering administrative functions if administrative staff are not scheduled or are sick or on vacation.
