Outreach Ambassadors

If you have a passion for Ele's Place and the programming provided for grieving children in Michigan, becoming an Outreach Ambassador is a great way to spread awareness of Ele's Place and provide information to the community about the valuable work we do.  Often, our program volunteers become Outreach Ambassadors after seeing first-hand the impact our support groups have on their participants.

The availability of Outreach Ambassador positions varies based on branch location and time of year.

Ele’s Place outreach ambassadors are volunteers that represent Ele's Place in a variety of ways:

  • Inviting guests to Tours of the Heart and other events at the Ele's Place nearest them
  • Staffing Ele's Place information booths at volunteer recruitment fairs and similar events
  • Representing Ele's Place at occasional community events hosted by third parties to benefit Ele's Place (golf outings, school functions, check presentations, etc.)
  • Making contacts in the community to share information about our programs and providing brochures as needed

Outreach Ambassadors will receive training about Ele's Place services to be able to provide basic information and answer questions.

We will consider each applicant on a case-by-case basis, and reserve the right to select individuals based on the best fit for the organization.
