Dawn Wolfe reported on the groundbreaking for a permanent Ele’s Place center in Ann Arbor. For more than a decade, families had met in spaces shared by local churches. A dedicated building would give groups more privacy and room for shared meals and activities.

The report also documented the wait for group openings and described what limited space could mean for a family arriving with several children. It records the community’s hopes for the new center before its doors opened.
