BE THERE · HOST A FUNDRAISER
Your friends. Your workplace. Your community. Together, you can help grieving children, teens, and families find connection and support.
Fundraise online, gather in person, or combine both. Your planning guide, invitations, and sharing tools are all right here.
Tell Lisa Nielsen, Chief Development Officer, your idea, proposed dates, and goal. She can help you plan and confirm the giving link and how gifts will be credited to your fundraiser.
Peer-to-peer fundraising means inviting the people you know to support a cause you care about—and encouraging them to invite others. Your personal connection gives people a reason to listen and a simple way to be there.
Try a birthday fundraiser, a tribute to someone special, a workplace challenge, or a shared goal with friends. Use these six steps to turn your idea into an invitation.
01
Choose an amount and an end date. Break the goal into smaller pieces: 12 gifts of $50 = $600. Every gift helps your group move forward.
02
Explain why Ele’s Place matters to you. You might honor someone, celebrate a milestone, or help children feel less alone. Share only personal details and photos you have permission to use.
03
Send a personal text or email to a few people who know you well. Make a clear invitation to give and include the giving link confirmed by Ele’s Place.
04
Share your story on social media or with coworkers. Ask supporters to share your invitation with their own circles. Add a Be There graphic to help people recognize the cause.
05
Share confirmed progress, a milestone, and a friendly reminder before your end date. Repeat the giving link so the next step is easy to find.
06
Thank people for gifts, encouragement, and sharing. After Ele’s Place confirms the total, let your community know what you raised together and how their support helps.
Giving Together? If your group wants to sponsor a day or create a shared tribute, ask us how to coordinate it before you begin.
